After being manufactured in our facility, our precast concrete walls are transported to the installation site. On site, the area is prepped for wall installation, ensuring the foundation is level, stable, and prepared to hold the panels’ weight. Then, the panels are lifted and placed into position with heavy-duty machinery, such as forklifts or cranes. All supportive steelwork is secured while the precast concrete walls are positioned.
There are several ways to join precast concrete walls. The best method depends on design requirements, structural considerations, architectural preferences, and building codes. The most common connection methods are dowels, bolts, or embedded connectors. The joints must be carefully engineered and constructed to ensure the integrity of the precast concrete wall panels.
